Blackboard specials

Steak Diane. Prime sirloin steak covered in a sauce made from mustard,cream,mushrooms,onions and brandy.
Rack of Lamb. Roasted golden until golden brown and crispy,a healthy appetite is needed for this feast.Served with minted gravy.
Fresh Plaice. Fillet of fresh place,grilled in butter,served with vegetables of the day.
Drambuie Pork. Battened fillet of pork grilled and coated on a fine drambuie and dill weed sauce.
Chicken Chasseur. Tender breast of chicken, pan fried and covered in a mouth-watering chasseur sauce.
Port and Stilton.8oz sirloin steak,cooked to your liking,smothered in a rich demi-glace favored strongly with stilton cheese and finished with Port.
Neck fillet of Lamb. Whole neck fillet braised slowly in red wine sauce until tender, served straight from the oven.
Grilled Salmon Steak. Fresh salmon grilled in butter with Norwegian prawns and mushrooms
Chicken and Broccoli Bake. Pieces of chicken bound in cream sauce with florets of florets,individually baked with a nut and bread crumb topping.
Roast Duckling. Half a roast duck roasted bread crumb golden brown,served with orange and cranberry sauce.
Fillet Steak Rossini. Tornadoes of fillet steak cooked to your liking,sat upon a bet of smooth pate,incrusted in a frayed bread croute,served with a rich ruby port sauce.
Chicken Merango. Fillet of chicken breast,pouched in a sauce combing cream,tomatoes,onions,chicken stock and spices.
Spinach and Walnut Lasagna. A vegetarian delight,layers of pasta Verdi incasing a tomato sauce with spinach and honey roasted walnuts,topped with a bechemel sauce,again individually cooked.
Full Leg of Lamb. This feast is roasted on the bone with cracked pepper and fresh mint, served with mint gravy.Blackboard specials
Roast Beef Dinner. The classic British Sunday roast,slices of roast beef,gravy from the stock,Yorkshire pudding,vegetables of the day,roast and boiled potatoes, simply the best.
Cajun Chicken. Tender chicken breast pan frayed and finished in the oven,coated in our own spicy Cajun sauce,served with rice or vegetables and chips.
Pork Steak. Succulent pork steak,marinated in garlic and herbs,pan seared,finished in the oven,served with assuage and mushrooms and topped with an fried egg.
Barnsley Chops. Honey roasted double spring lamb, grilled to perfection and served with chips or potatoes and vegetables of the day.
